Plantation, FL – Carolina Ampudia, M.D., President of the Democratic Progressive Caucus of Florida, and Mike Bonacolta, Chair of the DPCF Campaign Committee, have released the latest list of endorsements for their Caucus in the coming General Elections next November.
The Florida Democratic Progressive Caucus (DPCF) offers endorsements in a wide range of electoral races from the United States Congress to city commissions to highlight progressive champions who will represent the interests of everyday Floridans and not just the lucky few.
Candidates applying for DPCF endorsements affirm their support for our platform, including an extensive list of progressive policy positions on a wide range of issues, including world-class public education, gun safety, environmental protection, health care as a human right, and much more. DPCF is committed to implementing progressive policies at all levels of government as a way to improve the quality of life of the people of Florida. This election season is an opportunity for us to highlight the candidates who carry progressive values and a serious commitment to serving all the inhabitants of Florida, who have been affected not only by the recent devastating hurricane Ian, but also by COVID, unemployment, the housing crisis, lack of access to health care, oppression of minorities, and more. Our endorsed candidates are best able to serve Floridians from our densest cities to the extensive rural landscapes of our state.
We have reviewed the voting records of the candidates who requested endorsement consideration. Additionally, we checked their responses to our questionnaire and evaluated their records of donations and contributions. This evaluation involved social networks and the strength of their campaigns. The DPCF endorsement indicates that a candidate is a progressive Champion running a strong, competitive campaign.
We applaud all the progressive and democratic candidates. Running for a political position is a considerable undertaking. Thank you for your hard work and your commitment to the people of the State of Florida.
